Partner integration service
In many cases, a recruitment leads to the entire family moving to the region. When employers in Ludvika/Smedjebacken recruit staff, it is part of Samarkand2015's mission to provide support in finding work or other employment opportunities for relocating partners.
The initiative is based on a collaboration within a network of Samarkand2015’s owners and member companies, which represent a significant portion of the region's business community.
Relocating partners are offered, among other things:
Career coaching
- Personal consultations regarding the relocating partner's skills and employment
- Advice on resume and cover letter writing.
- Assistance with connections and distribution of CVs/letters to companies, organizations, recruitment, and staffing agencies
- Student guidance counseling through established channels.
- Invitation to relevant seminars, meetings, workshops and Swedish language groups.
- Contacts with the owner and member companies within Samarkand2015
- Business start-up advice and career guidance through established channels
- Invitations to networking events and projects that may be relevant for the relocating partner
Language courses
- Language lessons through established channels
- Chat groups where we practice the Swedish language together
Social network
Relocating partners can also receive personal information and practical assistance related to important aspects of life outside of work. Examples of activities include:
- Introduction to community services
- Workshops and seminars on topics such as intercultural communication and Swedish culture
- Information sessions about local associations, childcare, schools, and healthcare.
- Fika & Chat - Monday meetups where witcoming partners connect and make friends for life.
